UCDE Offers Unique Opportunities with the creation of our "Cheer Battle Round!"
UCDE competitions showcase cheerleading three dimensionally by featuring three rounds of exciting competition! All cheerleading organizations are invited to compete in any or all of our three categories as winners will be chosen from each round:
Round One: Bring It (Cheer Round) with a maximum time of 3 minutes where teams must showcase a cheer, chant and a dance within their routine. This is the round where stunts, tumbling, UCDE style (up stomp and down stomp), signs, megaphones and crowd response interaction should be utilized.
Round Two: Flip This (Dance Round) with a maximum time of 2.5 minutes where teams should showcase a dance routine where they add costumes or change uniforms, utilize props and showcase two styles of dance. Squads should approach this round as if they are making a video where their creativity will really be displayed.
Round Three: Cheer Phi (Battle Round) with three 30 second opportunities to battle your opponent with your verbal wit, creative moves, UCDE Style, and showmanship to win the crowds.
