UCDE celebrates Stomp-N-Shake cheerleading—also known and searched for as Stomp N Shake and Stomp and Shake—through training, camps, competition, community, and the traditions that continue to shape the style.

WHAT IS STOMP-N-SHAKE?
Stomp-N-Shake, also searched as Stomp and Shake or Stomp N Shake, is a distinctive style of cheerleading recognized for powerful stomps, sharp motions, rhythmic movement, chants, crowd engagement, and team identity.
UCDE creates opportunities for athletes and coaches to experience Stomp-N-Shake through cheer camps, clinics, competition, and community programs while celebrating its connection to HBCU and Black cheer culture.

UCDE camps and clinics help teams strengthen cheer fundamentals, Stomp-N-Shake technique, crowd engagement, battle etiquette, original material, and squad identity.
STOMP-N-SHAKE COMPETITION.
The UCDE Battle National Championship gives high school cheer programs an opportunity to represent their school, style, and community through Stomp-N-Shake competition.
The next championship takes place February 27, 2027 at The Lyric in Baltimore, Maryland.
CELEBRATING HBCU CHEER CULTURE.
UCDE brings together cheerleaders, coaches, alumni, schools, and supporters who share an appreciation for Stomp-N-Shake and HBCU cheer traditions. Through UCDE and CheerPhi, athletes can train, compete, connect, and represent their cheer community.
